ASHLEY TUTORS UPDATES WEB SITE WITH CUTTING EDGE CENTERTRAC REPORTING SYSTEM
Ashley Tutors to send parents tutoring recaps within 24 hours of session
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD. – Ashley Tutors http://www.ashleytutors.com/ launched in October 2007, offers one-on-one in-home academic tutoring to Washington, D.C. area students in grades kindergarten through 12. Ashley Tutors recently added the CenterTrac system to its Web site. The system provides an online outlet for communication, easy payments, and a chance for parents to keep tracks of their student’s progress. Ashley Tutors is one of only two locations in the Washington, D.C. area that uses CenterTrac.
CenterTrac, an efficient and superior communication system used by Ashley Tutors, e-mails to parents summaries of their student’s sessions with their instructor. Within 24 hours of each session, the instructor prepares a report in CenterTrac detailing the student’s energy, preparation and progress, as well as a general summary. That report is reviewed by an Ashley Tutors administrator, and is then e-mailed to the parents, teacher or doctors involved in the student’s education.
“Ashley Tutors strives for open communication and continuity between the student, parent and tutor,” said Josh Chernikoff, the Ashley Tutors’ team member who personally interviews, investigates and selects each tutor. “
“I’m very pleased with how these sessions are progressing,” said Rhonda Shore, a parent of a student at Murch Elementary School in Washington, D.C. ”In only three weeks my son is already thinking through his answers a bit more thoroughly, his handwriting is neater and he is becoming more confident. In addition, I’m impressed with the speed of the ‘CenterTrac’ reports, because it helps me as a parent build on the tutor’s work in between sessions.”
In addition to facilitating constant communication between the tutor and parent, Ashley Tutors frequently speaks with their student’s teachers to determine the teacher’s goals, their experience with the student in the classroom, and assure them that Ashley Tutors wants to support the teacher in every way.
Parents have been impressed with the high level of communication from Ashley Tutors. “Not only is the Ashley Tutors team familiar with the Montgomery County Public School curriculum, they also met with my daughter’s teacher at school,” said a parent of a Rachel Carson Elementary School student. “After conferring with her teacher, our tutor knew exactly how to help my daughter succeed in her class.”
While most tutoring centers use their own standardized curriculum and parents must travel to their location, Ashley Tutors develops unique, individualized strategies to meet the needs of each of its students in the comfort of their own home. From a fourth grader raising his reading level in three months to a Spanish II student improving her grade from a D to a B, parents are already seeing results generated by the energetic and experienced team of dedicated tutors who put to practice the Ashley Tutors motto: LIVE! Learning Is Very Entertaining.
