Chemistry Tutoring Expertise
Our chemistry tutors are experts in chemistry. Many of them majored in chemistry or biochemistry in college, and some hold or are working on advanced degrees. At a minimum, our chemistry tutors have taken upper level college chemistry courses, and they all have at least a bachelor's degree. An example of this would be a pre-medical major who majored in biology. In order to prepare for the MCAT and the rigors of medical school, these students take a battery of post-graduate courses in chemistry, biology, and physics in addition to their hefty science course load in college (which almost always includes upper level chemistry courses). Our tutors also have chemistry tutoring experience, and many of them served as college level Teaching Assistants, where they helped a professor deliver instruction and tutoring to college level students.
Tutoring Talent and Experience
Our chemistry tutors also have long histories of tutoring and teaching students. Many of them started tutoring in middle school and continued tutoring through high school and in college. Besides their experience, they also have a knack for finding out what is preventing a child from succeeding, and then solving the issue. Sometimes that means explaining a concept in a different way, sometimes it means re-teaching a prior concept. Regardless of the issue, our chemistry tutors can find and solve problems quickly and effectively.
