Hello all! As the temperature heats up around our area, so is our involvement and fun at the Jewish Community Center in Rockville. Our Ashley Tutors team has brought our unique high energy and kinesthetic learning techniques to the JCC. Several days a week, we have math tutors, reading tutors and tutors who can help in any subject!

Ashley Tutors meets my daughters twice a week after school when they step off the school bus at the JCC. Both my girls grab a healthy snack and then spend an hour working with the energetic tutors. Hello all — I know it has been a while since I wrote.  Teaching and tutoring have been taking all my time (psst…and I love it!).

I sure am looking forward to Spring Break and then a chance on April 13th to do some “spring cleaning” at J-Serve: National Day of Jewish Service Learning with our partners and friends at the JCC.  This is an awesome opportunity for teens all across Montgomery County, Md. and the Washington, D.C. area to, “clean up the natural surroundings and increase public access to nature trails around the Anacostia Watershed in Washington, D.C.”  Again, check out the J-Serve flyer for more information and to register!

Before that great event, many of our tutors and students will be going on Spring Break — actually, some of those lucky folks are already on Spring Break.  We all deserve it!  Everybody has been working so hard and we have the grades to prove it.  While we might take a break from the books, we will be updating our Web site — http://www.ashleytutors.com — in the next few days.  I would love to hear your thoughts on the new look.  Enjoy!
